Kitchen Giant Creates Jobs

This investment will help to improve the infrastructure of the company, allowing it to maintain stock levels and deliver it's kitchens to it's customers quicker. The massive expansion in 2005 was mainly for manufacturing facilities although some work was also done to their flagship showroom located on John Street, London. This recent investment will coincide with Magnet's nationwide rollout of new, award-winning showroom redesigns.

"We are particularly pleased that we have found employment for a number of local people." says project director Paul Knowles, "We have also outsourced to local companies too."

This expansion raises the number of people that are employed by Magnet to well over 600, and with the current rate of expansion, that number is likely to double within the next ten years.

Magnet's unique selling point is its "Full Circle Service" which promises to understand the needs of a customer's kitchen and then to tailor the design, layout and appliances to suit; essentially offering a bespoke kitchen design service at a wholesale, mass market price.
