House Doctor is shown on five TV which is currently off air but repeats are regularly shown on UKTV style. The show is presented by Ann Maurice, a Californian property developer. Her honest views have gained her a reputation for being the "Simon Cowell" of property TV.

The House Doctor format is based on people having problems trying to sell their property. Ann Maurice gives her guidance as to how to improve the house with a budget of 5% of the sale value which eventually should help get the house sold.

A spin off series from House Doctor called "House Doctor: Inside and Out" concentrates on the whole of the property including the garden, this is the most recent format which can often be seen on UKTV Style.
