bathroom design is a fine art. Many bathroom designers are now resorting to the powerful Computer Aided Design software programs to help them realise a design for a customer.

CAD offers many benefits over that of a simple sketch or model. Firstly, you are able to try different bathroom suites (with different dimensions) with ease. Showers, baths, toilets and sinks can all be dragged and dropped into position, altering their location within the bathrooms with a few clicks of the mouse.

A variety of bathroom ancillaries can then be added (everything from taps to towels rails, storage units to shower curtains) before the computer model is complete. With a further few keystrokes the bathroom can then be viewed from a variety of angles to help the customer get a real feel of what their new room will look like. Print-outs of the new bathroom can them be provided to the customer and a full design specification drawing made for the bathroom fitters, all with just a few clicks of the mouse.
