Hands Free Hygienic sinks

Each stainless steel sink comes complete with battery operated, hands-free taps. The taps, which apart from the lack of knobs can look identical to a regular kitchen taps, use motion sensors much like those found in modern hand dryers. By moving your hands close to the sensors the water is released from the tap. Aside from the wow factor that these taps hold, there is also some very clever science behind the new innovative design.

By using timed-flow valves, the taps can reduce water wastage by up to 80%, releasing water only when necessary and preventing the problem of the tap being left to 'run' accidentally.

Mechline’s hands free taps also prevent bacterial spread within the kitchen area. By removing the reliance to turn the knob of the tap to release and stop the flow of water, the taps reduce the cross contamination of bacteria from one surface to another, improving the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Currently available in a range of sizes to suit virtually all domestic and commercial kitchens, Mechline is soon to release a number of other hygienic accessories such as hand-free soap dispensers and mixing valves so that the temperature of the water can be controlled more accurately.
