CAD not ready for Vista

Microsoft have successfully launched their latest operating system to all home and business users without any security glitch gaffs. Unfortunately, despite Vista have been in planning stages for several years, most Computer Aided Design Software manufacturers have yet to launched Vista compatible software to their legions of CAD users. Although the main software houses claims that current CAD programs should be compatible with Vista there are warnings that some (older) CAD packages my not run as expected on the new operating system, with users experiencing software crashing unexpectedly, unsupported drives and CAD renderings taking considerably longer to complete.

A sensible precaution for all Windows users thinking of upgrading to Vista is to check the website of their CAD Software suppliers to look for Vista compatibility information.
